About Rachel
Hi there. Welcome and thank you so much for coming to my slice of the internet. In case we haven’t met before, I’m Rachel. I’ve been running since high school, where I was a part of the cheerleading, cross country and track teams. Then throughout college I became overworked, depressed and gained weight. By age 24 I earned my Masters Degree, and found myself working over 80 hours a week in a hotel management job. Addicted to soda, quick processed meals, I already found myself unhappy with the path I was going down. Something had to give. One day I finally looked in the mirror and had my “enough is enough” moment. Started to work out again, put myself on a schedule, cleaned up my diet (became vegan), and within months I was down over 20pounds . I felt alive again and in such a better place, the next thing to do was become a coach and coach others to free themselves from themselves. I took my power back!
Next thing I know, Run4Lyfe was born in 2012. During that time between then and now I have lived a plant based lifestyle, ran over 20 half marathons, 2 full marathons, some obstacle course races, 5Ks and 10Ks sprinkled in there too. Took home first place in an all natural bikini bodybuilding trophy, helped men and women from all over the country be the best version of themselves through personalized programing and attention.
I created Run4Lyfe with the mission in mind to not let anyone or anything take control of my life. I was in charge. Run4Lyfe is not for the mainstream or someone wanting a quick fix. I want to help others, yes run their first race or hit that PR, but I want to help you learn to take control of your life at the same time! When you learn to do that you will build the best results and self love.
After I transformed my life, I fully believed in this mission to help others do the same. The intention to always share my personal and professional experience and knowledge It’s important to me that I share my story , my values and mindset and hold nothing back as there is someone out there who may be experiencing the same things.
If you’ve found yourself on this page for a cookie cutter running program with someone who doesn’t want to get to know you and just wants to collect a check, you are in the wrong place. But if you’re here to make a true change and connection, I’m your girl.
Working with me is different… because I takes all lessons I’ve learned over the years such as battling body dysmorphic disorder, depression, anxiety, binge eating disorder, toxic and abusive relationships, and my story from above and fought my way back to optimal health and mindful lifestyle.
I will show you how to reach your goals, never give up and run that race you never thought you could! I will listen to you, I will fight for you, I will be your cheerleader, I will be right there with you from start to crossing that finish line and beyond. I want to see you succeed and have that photo finish.
